Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) invites a Quantity Surveyor to support tender preparation, analysis and evaluation, prepare tenders for management approval, and handle contract administration of secured projects at the East project site office.

You will prepare documentation from shortlisting to award of subcontracts, manage progress claims and payments, liaise with clients' QS, monitor variation orders, and contribute to final accounts while safeguarding

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Assist in tender preparation, analysis and evaluation.
Prepare tender bids for Management’s approval.
Administer contracts for secured projects.
Prepare documentation from shortlisting to award of subcontracts, including evaluation, comparison and recommendations.
Prepare and submit progress claims to clients.
Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Liaise with client or consultant’s Quantity Surveyors.
Maintain liaison with project staff, especially the Project Director.
Monitor records and manage all variation orders.
Provide documentation for final accounts with clients and subcontractors while safeguarding confidential documents.
Negotiate with client’s Quantity Surveyors during final accounts or variation orders.
