Job summary

China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to draft, review and negotiate contracts, review progress claims, and manage payment valuations. The role requires coordination of notices, insurance, and bonds, all using our Mandarin-based in-house system.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering and be fluent in English and Mandarin for effective

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel for cost tracking, and specialized project management software.
• Fluent in written English and Mandarin due to Mandarin-based in-house software.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates head contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to mitigate commercial risk.
• Reviews subcontractor progress claims, evaluates on-site work, and issues interim payment certificates.
• Tracks project milestones and ensures all mandatory contract notices, insurance certificates, and security bonds are maintained and served on time.
• Submit progress claims and other submissions via in-house system.
• Performs any other duties assigned by superior.
