Job summary

Recruitco Pte Ltd is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of architectural works on a building construction project. You will work with the Project Manager, engineers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure drawings and requirements are met on site.

You will lead cross-trade site coordination, prepare submissions, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and TOP requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Architectural or building construction background required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with hands-on drawing experience.
• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction details.
• Familiar with shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer in planning and executing structural and architectural works.
• Lead site coordination activities across different trades.
• Coordinate with the Resident Technical Officer (RTO) on inspections and approvals.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
• Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, contract specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Manage the procurement and delivery of architectural materials.
• Monitor the usage and availability of materials on site.
• Conduct site inspections, trade demonstrations, material testing and mock-ups.
• Ensure compliance with TOP checklists and architectural regulatory inspection requirements.
• Attend subcontractor and site coordination meetings.
• Support contract administration, site operations and project management matters.
