Job summary

Maybell Quantum is seeking a Production Manager to stand up and run production at our Singapore facility. You will lead a team of technicians building, testing, and shipping dilution refrigerators, training staff, and ensuring build quality while transferring processes from Denver to Singapore.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, process documentation, and continuous improvement as we scale a high-growth, venture-backed operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher Nitec, or equivalent in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience assembling, testing, or maintaining complex electromechanical equipment.
• Welding experience.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a team of technicians.
• Hands-on experience with high-vacuum systems and helium leak detection.
• Experience safely handling cryogens such as liquid nitrogen or liquid helium.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and use precision tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Self-starter who can drive results in a fast-moving environment.
• Able to work on-site in Singapore and eligible to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Floor: supervise and schedule technicians, set daily build priorities.
• Train and Develop: onboard technicians, train on build/test procedures, certify team members.
• Set the Standard: model safety and quality, maintain documentation.
• Assemble & Test: build subsystems, run cooldowns, record results, perform leak checks.
• Process & Quality: transfer processes from Denver, update work instructions, maintain build records.
• Safety: enforce safe handling of cryogenic materials and meet WSH requirements.
