Lead Manufacturing Engineer - Cryogenic Hardware Production

Job summary

Maybell Quantum is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to stand up and run production at our new operations facility in Singapore. You will transfer proven processes from our Denver site to ensure a single standard is followed across both locations.

You will configure production lines, lead continuous improvement, and develop work instructions while partnering with engineering to enhance design for manufacturability and throughput. This role demands hands-on leadership and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3+ years of work experience leading a manufacturing line.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity with ability to drive results independently and through team members.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional hands-on assembly and fabrication skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Strong CAD & mechanical design skills.
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize production lines for manufacturing of Maybell’s pulse tubes and Cold Cloud refrigerators.
• Implement manufacturing quality and organizational systems.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop work instructions and production documentation.
• Design manufacturing jigs and equipment to improve production quality and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve system design and DFM.
• Build and manage aggressive production schedules.
