Job summary

AsiaCruit, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities in Singapore.

You will develop supplier networks, negotiate pricing, optimize channels, and ensure reliable supply of electronic components, working closely with the China HQ and managing local operations in Singapore. The role requires 3+ years in electronics procurement, fluency in Chinese for coordination with China HQ, and on-site work in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on procurement in electronics components or semiconductors.
• Direct procurement experience with TI, ADI, or STMicroelectronics.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components market and distribution channels.
• Experience with manufacturers, authorized distributors, agents, or sourcing partners.
• Strong negotiation, pricing, cost-control, and procurement optimization.
• Ability to assess material requirements and coordinate procurement planning.
• Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese with China HQ and suppliers.
• Based in Singapore with work authorization.
• Willing to work on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with electronic component suppliers, including manufacturers, authorized distributors, agents, and other sourcing channels.
• Build and maintain a supplier database to expand sourcing opportunities and strengthen procurement resources.
• Source electronic components and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, product availability, quality, lead times, and supply reliability.
• Negotiate competitive prices and terms to optimize procurement costs and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to understand customer requirements, assess material demand, and develop procurement plans.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure timely material availability.
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, and other supply‑related issues.
• Maintain supplier relationships while identifying potential supply chain risks and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Coordinate procurement activities and business requirements with the China headquarters.
