Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support manufacturing operations at Changi. You will handle end-to-end purchasing, source raw materials, manage supplier relationships, and monitor inventory to prevent shortages.

The role requires hands-on procurement experience in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Onsite work at Changi with standard business hours and potential for contract renewal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on procurement / buying experience in manufacturing.
• Experience purchasing raw materials or direct materials.
• Vendor management, supplier negotiations and maintaining relationships.
• Familiar with PO management, inventory planning and material replenishment.
• Knowledge of MRP, VMI or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable with procurement reports.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable onsite at Changi and available for calls outside office hours.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing activities including sourcing quotations and processing PO.
• Procure direct and raw materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing for timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory Levels and PO status to prevent stockouts.
• Track outstanding orders, expedite deliveries and resolve supplier issues.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and supplier sourcing projects.
• Analyze purchasing data and supplier performance to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality and logistics teams.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and audit requirements.
