Job summary

OMAR SHARIFF RESTAURANT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Chief Finance Officer to lead finance and accounting functions, report to Directors, and drive growth and profitability.

The role requires strategic financial leadership and strong stakeholder collaboration in a Singapore-based operation. The CFO will oversee budgeting, cash flow, controls, and compliance with local accounting standards, GST and taxes, while building a high-performing finance team and partnering with management on long-term

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, Finance Controller or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance and accounting operations.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Develop financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance, costs, margins and risks.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting, GST, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Establish and maintain financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Directors.
• Oversee financial planning, projections and investment decisions.
• Lead, manage and develop the finance team.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors and other stakeholders.
