Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Senior Technical Lead for Training & Simulation Systems to oversee software, system, and testing teams. You will design solutions with product leads, manage technical budgets, and ensure delivery within scope while aligning with QMS policies and customer expectations.

Strong C#/C++ background and English communication are essential. You'll guide a multidisciplinary team across software and hardware interfaces, champion best practices, and drive AI integration

Qualifications

• Prior experience in system design with good understanding of technical trends.
• Knowledge of code management software and programming practices.
• Experience developing software in primarily C# and sometimes C++, with good programming practices for 60-fps simulation/game environments.
• Good knowledge or practical experience in C# and/or C++.
• Comfortable with high-level communication and networking.
• Able to learn quickly about products and services, and comfortable with technical jargon.
• Self-motivated and resilient, with composure to handle customer demands.
• Proficiency in English (writing and speaking).
• Bonus: experience with simulators development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define solutions with product leads for customers and manage technical budgets for delivery.
• Lead and manage software, system and testing engineers, providing technical leadership.
• Guide team on standardised methodologies and external collaborations when applicable.
• Coordinate with product leads to design and implement technology solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) policies and processes.
• Ensure development and production progress throughout project duration.
• Maintain positive communications with customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee delivery verification and certification processes.
• Strategize AI delivery within technical solutions and guide AI implementation.
