Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement simulation platforms for robotic fleets in manufacturing and logistics. You will work on real-time modelling, build reusable components, and connect simulations with industrial data systems.

Strong Python/C++ skills and hands-on experience with Unity/Unreal/Gazebo or similar simulation tools are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in simulation, real-time or autonomous systems, or related areas.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Experience building maintainable software, APIs, data pipelines, or simulation apps.
  • Familiarity with simulation concepts (event-driven systems, state machines, time synchronisation).

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop simulation software modules modelling manufacturing and logistics systems and mobile robot fleets.
  • Build modular, reusable simulation components configurable across environments.
  • Develop data pipelines, APIs, and connectors for integration with industrial systems.
  • Apply simulation concepts to represent real-world behaviour and validate digital twins.
  • Prepare clear technical materials for stakeholders and participate in engineering reviews.
