Job summary

VDL ETG Singapore is seeking a Production Scheduler/Shopfloor Controller to coordinate daily fabrication activities, align schedules with material availability, and act as the operations liaison on the shop floor. You will monitor progress, resolve discrepancies, and drive disciplined production execution.

In this role you provide structured updates to the Production Planner, flag risks early, support ERP-driven decision making, and ensure timely materials and smooth workflows to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering/Materials/Industrial Engineering is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as controller in manufacturing.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions, Power BI and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily shopfloor production activities.
• Develop and maintain optimized production schedules.
• Ensure timely release of production orders and material readiness.
• Organize daily shopfloor meetings and report progress.
• Support planning decisions with ERP-driven data.
