Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Scheduler/Shopfloor Controller to drive daily fabrication activities and ensure material readiness. You will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and communicate updates to the Production Planner for ERP-based decision making.

Ideal candidates have a relevant diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities to support disciplined production execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Engineering/Materials/Supply Chain/Logistics/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as controller in manufacturing industry or equivalent.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain optimized production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate daily shopfloor manufacturing and fabrication activities to align with approved plans.
• Manage end-to-end shopfloor material readiness and scheduling.
• Organize and chair daily shopfloor production meetings.
• Provide daily updates to Production Planner on status, material readiness and risks.
