The role supports voyage controllers, claims, vetting, and performance teams, with training in Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI, while you build practical industry insight and professional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Maritime Studies or a related field.
• Strong communication and business writing skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Gain foundational understanding of tanker operations in shipping and cargo.
• Support Voyage Controllers with owner and voyage payments.
• Assist Claims team with demurrage and port claims.
• Learn from Freight Traders and Chartering teams about cargo/voyage fixtures.
• Support Vetting team in clearance procedures for operated tankers.
• Assist Voyage Performance team in monitoring daily vessel performance.
• Participate in projects across Shipping and Support teams.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager.
