Job summary

Gunvor Singapore Pte. Ltd. is offering a 6-month Research Intern position in Singapore within the Oil Research team. You will assist the team to produce analysis for the oil products trading desk and support regular market outlook materials.

The role requires degree-level qualifications in Engineering or STEM fields, strong data skills (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI), and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. 5-day week commitment for the internship period is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track global oil flows by product grades and provide insights to trading desks.
• Assist in tracking refinery capacity changes and turnaround impacts.
• Produce concise market analyses and outlook slides for senior management.
• Interface with traders and IT front office to improve reporting interfaces and automation.
• Support ad-hoc research projects to add value to desk analyses.
