COENS Energy is partnering with a well reputable global broking firm and we are seeking an experienced Shipbroker (S&P and Projects) to join their expanding Singapore desk. This role will focus on driving commercial deal execution for second-hand tonnage, newbuilding contracts, and long-term maritime projects.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate end-to-end Sale & Purchase transactions for second-hand tonnage, newbuildings, and demolition projects across targeted vessel segments.
Identify and execute long-term project opportunities, including bareboat charters, long-term time charters, and specialized asset financing structures.
Provide market intelligence, valuation assessments, and commercial guidance to shipowners, financiers, and institutional investors.
Expand and nurture a global network of key decision-makers across shipowning entities, shipyards, and financial institutions.
Lead negotiations for MOAs, shipbuilding contracts, charterparties, and related legal documentation to successfully close deals.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of established track record as an S&P or Projects Broker within a reputable shipbroking firm.
Existing, direct relationships with global shipowners, operators, yards, and maritime financiers.
Strong commercial grounding in vessel valuations, contract structures, and global trade dynamics.
Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and fluent business communication skills.
Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Business, Finance, Law, or a relevant field.
