Job summary

GREATSEA MARINE PTE. LTD. is looking for a proactive ship repair coordinator in Singapore to manage project activities, prepare quotes, and maintain pricing files. You will coordinate suppliers, issue POs, handle invoicing, and ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires at least 1 year in ship repairs or marine operations, plus strong MS Office skills and good communication. On-site work with potential overtime and weekend shifts in Singapore.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relative working experience in ship repairs, marine operations or shipyard environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; able to prepare quotations and manage pricing files.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills with strong time management.
  • Committed, self-motivated and proactive team player; able to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ship repair services.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive quotations according to technical specifications.
  • File and maintain client agreements, contracts, rebates and confidentiality agreements; calculate prices and maintain pricing files.
  • Understand and evaluate technical specifications.
  • Prepare repair invoices according to work carried out.
  • Source subcontractors/vendors, issue purchase orders and negotiate invoices.
  • Maintain orderly estimating and invoicing files and track manhour estimates vs actuals.
  • Prepare and negotiateSales agreements and invoices with vendors.
  • Collect and analyze commercial information and prepare reports for clients.
