Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Shipbroker to join its dry bulk desk. The ideal candidate will bring 5–8+ years in Supramax/Ultramax broking, a portable client book, and fluent English with Mandarin to liaise with Chinese charterers and SOEs.

You will negotiate fixture terms, draft charterparties, monitor freight trends, and build long‑term relationships with shipowners, traders, and charterers to drive revenue across the Greater China market.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Shipbroker (Supramax / Ultramax) to join a dynamic dry bulk team. This role is ideal for a commercially driven, plug-and-play professional with a strong track record, deep industry connections, and an established network of charterers, shipowners, and operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Fixture negotiations, charterparty drafting, and closing period/spot dry bulk fixtures for Supramax and Ultramax tonnage.
• Leverage existing industry relationships and a ready book of business to drive revenue and expand regional desk coverage.
• Monitor and analyze freight market trends, supply/demand dynamics, and cargo flows to provide strategic advice to clients.
• Maintain and foster long-term relationships with key shipowners, charterers, and traders globally.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5-8+ years of proven shipbroking experience within the Supramax / Ultramax dry bulk sector.
• Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running ("plug-and-play") with an active, portable client network/portfolio.
• Professional fluency in English. Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to effectively liaise, negotiate, and maintain daily commercial interactions with Chinese charterers, shipowners, and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) across the Greater China market.
• Strong negotiation skill set, highly self-motivated, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
