Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a chemical plant operator for Jurong Island. You will operate, monitor and control equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production while complying with SOPs and EHS guidelines.

The role requires a Diploma/Nitec in Chemical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in chemical processing, with shift work capability. Basic ISO knowledge is expected, and polymerization or extrusion experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience operating chemical plant equipment and following SOPs.
• Good knowledge of safety and EHS risk assessments.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Willing to work in shift and report hazards promptly.

Responsibilities

Basic Monthly Salary + AWS + VB + Fixed Allowance

Working Location: Jurong Island, company bus provided at Jurong East

Working Hours: 8.30am to 8.30pm (morning shift) / 8.30pm to 8.30am (night shift)

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Apply chemical plant operation knowledge to follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure-SOP, EHS regulations, risk assessment).
• Carry out minor troubleshooting and have good knowledge to safely prepare equipment for maintenance
• Capable to recognize unsafe plant condition and promptly report any near miss / deviations / incidents to his supervisor.
• To demonstrate strong ownership, team spirit, challenge and sincerity.

Requirements

• Diploma or Nitec in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a chemical processing environment. Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous.
• Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing with working knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001/IATF16949, ISO 45001, SS651.
• Able to work shift in a fast-paced environment.
