Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee incoming inspection, thermal spraying, heat treatment and related manufacturing operations.

You will lead the night team, coordinate with maintenance, enforce EHS and quality procedures, conduct daily SQDC reviews and drive continuous improvement while responding promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment with team lead or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Able to respond promptly to operational emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift operations of incoming inspection, chemical stripping, thermal spraying and heat treatment.
• Conduct toolbox and daily management system (DMS) meetings covering safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC).
• Manage shift manpower deployment and attendance; escalate issues via MyAndon or other established channels.
• Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements including emergency response, incident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with quality requirements; enforce the standard work, following work instructions and quality forms.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; coordinate with Maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Review risk assessments; conduct layered process reviews (LPR) and Gemba walks to identify and close gaps.
