Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable school attendant to handle indoor cleaning, room upkeep, and basic facilities support.

The role involves assisting the Operations Manager, locking/unlocking rooms, security, and helping with school events and logistics.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, GCE O Level or equivalent, and basic Internet tools like WhatsApp.

Qualifications

• Preferably GCE 'O' Level certificate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a school attendant.
• Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
• Ability to use basic internet tools such as WhatsApp.

Responsibilities

• Perform indoor cleaning duties in school facilities, including wiping tables and windows.
• Assist Operations Manager with general maintenance and stock checks.
• Lock and unlock rooms, ensure security of the school and operate alarms.
• Provide support for events, move furniture, and assist with traffic/usher duties.
• Maintain indoor house plants.
• Coordinate with term contractors for maintenance of grounds and facilities.
• Carry out other adhoc duties as assigned by School Leaders and Operations Managers.

Job description

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. In-door cleaning duties of school facilities rooms, such as wiping tables, wiping windows, vacuuming carpets, pantry cleaning, clearing trash bins.
2. Assist Operations Manager in general maintenance of school environment and upkeep of school facilities such as reporting building and equipment defects and checking school supplies are well stocked.
3. Locking and unlocking of school rooms. Ensure the security of the school including the opening and closing of school gates and rooms; operating the security alarm system; and reporting cases of security concern.
4. Provide support for routine operational tasks and ad-hoc tasks such as logistical support for school events including carrying and arranging furniture and equipment; and performing traffic control or ushering duties if required.
5. In-door maintenance of house plants.
6. Assist the Operations Manager in-coordinating with Term Contractors for the maintenance of school ground, facilities and equipment
7. Any adhoc duties tasked by the School Leaders and Operations Managers

The Personnel should preferably have the followingqualifications, skills and experience:

1.Preferably GCE 'O' Level Certificate orequivalent. Relevant supporting documents such as qualification certificatesare required to be submitted , together with the CV.)

2.Should have at least 1 year of experience asschool attendant

3.Having prior schoolattendant experience working in a school environment would be an advantage

4.Ability to use basic Internet sites i.e. WhatsApp, etc.
