Job summary

Assumption English School is seeking a reliable School Attendant to support daily facilities maintenance, security logistics, and campus upkeep. Candidates should have 1 year of experience, a GCE O Level or equivalent, and basic English with fluency in at least one Mother Tongue.

The role includes cleaning, logistics for events, and coordinating with the Operations Manager. Working hours are weekdays with occasional ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferably a GCE "O" Level Certificate or an equivalent localized credential.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct experience operating as a school attendant or an institutional facility cleaner. Prior MOE educational facility experience is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively and write in basic English, fluent in at least one Mother Tongue (e.g., Malay, Mandarin, Tamil).
• Technical Basics: Proficient with basic internet apps (such as WhatsApp) for task updates.
• Core Attributes: Physically fit, punctual, dependable team player, able to work independently while following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning & Housekeeping: Clean designated rooms and facilities, wipe tables, windows, vacuum carpets, tidy pantry, empty waste and care for plants.
• Estate Security & Maintenance: Open/close rooms, secure gates, operate basic security alarms, report breaches.
• Operational & Logistics Support: Assist with events, move heavy furniture, arrange equipment, manage campus traffic/ushering.
• Vendor Coordination & Inspections: Patrol for faults, log reports, ensure supplies, coordinate with maintenance contractors.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Take on extra tasks as required by School Leaders and Operations Management.
