Job summary

A leading chemical company in Singapore is seeking a professional to implement safety regulations and lead emergency response training for the Site Emergency Response Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in firefighting and strong interpersonal skills. This role requires willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts in Jurong Island, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations. Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in the Chemical/Petrochemical industry is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in firefighting, firemen training, and incident response is necessary.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement applicable Singapore WSH and Evonik regulations relating to Occupational safety.
• Lead training of the Site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and during incidents.
• Inspect and maintain all emergency response equipment and PPE.

• Implementation of the applicable Singapore WSH and Evonik regulations and compliance matters (HS) related to Occupational safety.
• Provide the lead in training of the Site
• Emergency Response Team (ERT) in emergency drills and lead the ERT during an incident.
• Inspection and maintenance of all emergency response equipment, PPE and apparatus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant work experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous
• Hands on experience in fire fighting, fire men training and incident response is necessary
