Job summary

Keppel Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Support Operations Engineer to monitor plant status via the Central Control Room (CCR) and coordinate with maintenance teams on boilers and turbo-generators.

You will assist in safe isolation, PTW compliance, and daily operation support across water/wastewater treatment and bunker management. Candidate should have an NITEC in engineering, DCS knowledge, and a safety-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or equivalent in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
• DCS and plant equipment knowledge required.
• Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate preferred.
• Safety trainings planned for candidates not yet trained.
• Strong safety mindset with good communication.
• Meticulous and proactive with team collaboration.
• Interest in Waste-to-Energy plant operations.
• Able to commit to 12-hour shifts and standby on off days.
• This is a 2-year contract position.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Engineer to monitor plant status via CCR and track boilers, turbo-generators, and flue gas treatment.
• Assist in safe equipment isolation and normalization using P&ID drawings.
• Support operations involving weighbridges, water/wastewater treatment, reception halls, and bunker management.
• Assist to handle and resolve technical issues related to daily generation and processing units.
• Support to enforce PTW, risk assessments, and LOTO systems.
• Participate in plant safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and health standards.
• Work with maintenance teams during boiler and turbo-generator overhauls.
• Contribute to plant improvement, efficiency, and ad-hoc tasks.
