Job summary

Keppel (Infrastructure Division) seeks a Senior/Technical Officer to support daily operations of the Waste-to-Energy plant. You will perform routine checks, monitor DCS parameters, and manage boiler water and feed systems, ensuring safe, compliant operation.

You will enforce PTW and LOTO, assist in CCR and overhaul activities, and liaise with maintenance and contractors, ready to respond to incidents with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• At least a Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of plant equipment and DCS functions is essential.
• Class 2 Boiler Attendant Certificate preferred but not mandatory.
• Safety-minded with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks and testing of plant equipment and propose job cards.
• Monitor plant parameters via DCS and on-site adjustments to stay within limits.
• Manage boiler water condition and level, including water consumption control.
• Oversee equipment switch-overs and waste-to-energy throughput optimization.
• Enforce PTW and risk assessment, administer LOTO and ensure safety.
• Support CCR, weighing, water/wastewater treatment, and overhaul activities.
• Supervise contracts for ash handling, ensure regulatory and HSE compliance.
