Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a TD MDE Shift Engineer to bridge real-time shift execution with TD strategic goals and drive operational excellence across the TD/1st Shift teams. You will coordinate with HVM Ops and cross-functional groups to deliver stable processes and high yield.

The role requires a technical degree, strong data analysis and SPC knowledge, and hands-on wafer fabrication experience. You will lead safety, quality, and tooling improvements while supporting training and continuous

Qualifications

Master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Materials Engineering; 0–4 years wafer fabrication experience
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and SPC/process control knowledge
Understanding of yield/defect mechanisms and process flow interactions

Responsibilities

Serve as 2nd line of defense for shift-critical issues and coordinate with TD/HVM teams
Set priorities, resolve issues, and ensure robust reaction plans for shift teams
Develop plans to resolve on shift process/tool issues and mitigate quality risks
Collaborate with PDE, EDE, and suppliers to maintain tool performance and availability
Build training plans with the 1st shift MDE team to improve efficiency
