Job summary

Micron Technology in Singapore seeks a SNR/Staff Shift Engineer Lead in TD MFG DEV ENG to coordinate area priorities for process development and operations, ensuring robust shift-level operations. The role bridges real-time shift execution and TD strategic objectives, translating priorities into actionable plans, while driving safety, quality, yield protection and operational excellence.

You will lead Engineers and Technicians, collaborate with TD 1st Shift, HVM Ops, and multi-functional teams

Qualifications

• Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Engineering & 5 years of wafer fabrication industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and SPC/process control knowledge.
• Proficient in Micron systems/tools (e.g., SPC, GerM, MES Central, SWR) and automation/AI interest.
• Working knowledge of yield, defect mechanisms and process interactions.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Quality: complete safety training and uphold policies; reduce injuries and incidents.
• Shift Operations: act as second line of defense for shift issues and coordinate with HVM Ops and TD 1st shift.
• Priorities & Planning: set priorities with TD 1st Shift and multi-functional teams; ensure action plans and updates.
• Process Development Support: provide development support including FA/VPD, SWR data collection, and critical lots health checks.
• Leadership: guide engineers/technicians, provide coaching, and develop training plans.
