Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a TD MDE Shift Engineer to ensure robust shift-level operations bridging real-time execution with strategic TD objectives.

You will coordinate with TD 1st Shift, HVM Ops, and cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality execution and to drive yield and quality improvements. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Materials Engineering or 3–4 years of wafer fabrication experience, and entails permanent 12-hour day

Qualifications

• Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Engineering or 3-4 years of wafer fabrication proven experience
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and SPC/process control, yield/defect mechanism and process flow interaction knowledge
• Proficient in Micron systems/tools (SPC, GerM, MES Central, SWR) and automation/AI adoption

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift-level operations and act as a bridge between real-time execution and strategic TD objectives
• Develop and execute plans to resolve on-shift process/tool issues, improve output, and mitigate quality risks
• Collaborate with 1st shift MDE, HVM Ops, PDE/EDE and suppliers to maintain performance and drive improvements
• Provide Process Development support including data collection, health checks, and issue containment
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and cross-functional communication for line stability
