Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited is seeking a capable Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations and coordinate shift activities.

The role focuses on optimizing resource deployment, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with SOPs across electrical and mechanical systems. You will issue maintenance work orders, perform HV switching with PSO, review MRSA, and supervise technicians while liaising with PUB and steam customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Certification as Work at Height Manager and Confine Space Worker preferred.
• Experience with power plant operations or related industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and coordinate shift activities.
• Deploy resources on shift to meet dispatch requirements.
• Issue work orders for maintenance to address equipment faults.
• Perform HV switching with PSO and licensed HV engineers.
• Review MRSA for maintenance work and issue PTW per SOP.
• Ensure safe execution and inspection of mechanical and electrical isolation.
• Liaise with PUB and steam customers on operations during shifts.
• Coordinate quality objectives and improve process reliability.
• Supervise Technical Officers and Shift Team.
• Maintain production logs and regulatory reports.
• Keep SOPs up to date.
