Job summary

NEW HOPE COMMUNITY SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a Client Engagement Officer in Singapore to help ensure a safe, supportive shelter environment for displaced and disadvantaged residents. You will supervise daily shelter operations, handle resident inquiries, and support admissions and orientation processes.

You will also assist in conflict management, enforce shelter rules, and help maintain health, safety, and administrative records, including rations and payments.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work with displaced and destitute individuals.
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
• Comfort with weekend/after-hours coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for shelter operations.
• Handle day-to-day queries from residents and assist in admissions/orientation.
• Assist in conflict management and de-escalate incidents.
• Support safety, health, and sanitation in the shelter environment.
• Maintain client and operational records, including payments and distributions.
