Job summary
Bizlink Speedy PTE. LTD. seeks a production supervisor to oversee sheet metal operations including turret punching, laser cutting, welding and finishing. You will plan manpower, coordinate material flow, and drive continuous improvement to meet daily output and quality targets.
The role requires hands-on experience with NCT turret punching and laser cutting, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication with supervision exposure is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of NCT turret punching and laser cutting; programming and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sheet metal production activities across turret punching, laser cutting, welding/riveting, polishing/finishing.
- Plan and allocate manpower to meet daily output, quality and delivery targets.
- Coordinate material flow across manufacturing processes for efficiency.
- Optimize turret punching and laser cutting operations including parameters.
- Establish and maintain process standards and quality for finishing operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues: warping, distortion, misalignment.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional, surface and structural quality requirements.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement to reduce scrap and downtime.
- Collaborate with Process Improvement Engineering on DFM and manufacturability.
- Provide guidance to technicians and operators; support overtime when needed.
