Job summary

TECHSTEEL FABRATION PTE LTD is seeking a skilled sheet metal fabrication professional to lead process planning and quality initiatives, ensuring efficient production and compliance with industry standards. You will review drawings, prepare engineering documents, and collaborate with welders to implement optimized fabrication processes using TIG and MIG welding.

Minimum three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication - welding is required; strong GD&T knowledge and ECN drawing

Qualifications

Minimum three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication - welding.
Knowledge of GD&T and welding symbols to interpret fabrication needs.

Responsibilities

Review drawings to select optimal fabrication process sequences.
Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documents (OMS, SOP, WI, WPS, PQR, WPQ).
Collaborate with welders to implement fabrication processes and verify requirements.
Apply GD&T and welding symbols to interpret fabrication needs.
Utilize TIG and MIG welding knowledge to ensure weld quality per AWS, ASME, ISO.
Analyze failures to identify root causes and drive improvements.
Manage drawing documentation and control via ECN to maintain versions.
Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
