🧠 About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain our organization’s ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on ITSM, CMDB, and Integration modules.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, scalable ServiceNow solutions. Your expertise will help ensure platform stability, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement across the enterprise.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
  • Development & Implementation: Design, configure, customize, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and reports.
  • ITSM Expertise: Configure and customize core ITSM modules—Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
  • CMDB Management: Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring CI relationships, data accuracy, and governance.
  • Integration Development: Build and support integrations with external systems via REST, SOAP, JDBC, or middleware.
  • Requirements & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and design scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit, system, and UAT testing to ensure quality and reliability. Participate in code reviews.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design, configuration, and test plans.
  • Platform Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing platform support, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Upgrades & Enhancements: Participate in system upgrades and patching, ensuring minimal disruption and proper validation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend platform optimizations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, administrators, and business teams in a collaborative environment.
🧩 Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing solutions in ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow scripting (Glide API, JavaScript), and web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML).
  • Familiarity with Service Portal development and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM and/or CMDB.
  • Experience with ITOM, HRSD, GRC, or other ServiceNow modules.
  • Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
