Kasmoprav is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead architecture, implementation, governance, and optimization of enterprise CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The role emphasizes CMDB health, ITOM, and cloud discovery across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The candidate will design enterprise CMDB architecture, govern data quality, and drive service mapping, discovery, and integration with monitoring systems. Remote work is supported, with senior leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing enterprise CMDB architectures using ServiceNow ITOM.
• Proven ability to implement CI lifecycle, data stewardship, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of CSDM, CI relationships, and cloud discovery across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern enterprise CMDB aligned with CSDM and ITOM best practices.
• Design and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server architectures.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, and integration with monitoring and asset tools.
• Lead workshops, prepare architecture docs, and mentor CMDB engineers.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure CMDB health and adoption.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead the architecture, implementation, governance, and optimization of enterprise CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB Health, CSDM, and cloud discovery across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities

CMDB Architecture & Governance

• Design enterprise CMDB architecture aligned with ServiceNow best practices and the CSDM framework.
• Define governance standards, data quality controls, and ownership models.
• Implement CI lifecycle management and data stewardship processes.
• Improve CMDB Health across Completeness, Correctness, Compliance, and Relationship Health.
• Configure Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Data Manager Policies, and Archive Rules.

Discovery & Service Mapping

• Architect and implement ServiceNow Discovery for Windows, Linux/Unix, Network Devices, Storage Systems, VMware, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Design and optimize MID Server architecture for scalability and performance.
• Develop custom Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and SNMP classifiers.
• Troubleshoot discovery issues, credential failures, CI duplication, and classification gaps.
• Implement technical and business service maps for enterprise applications.

CMDB Data Quality & Integration

• Define automated data ingestion and reconciliation strategies.
• Configure Service Graph Connectors and Transform Maps.
• Integrate CMDB with monitoring, asset management, and third-party tools.
• Resolve duplicate CIs, reconciliation conflicts, and relationship issues.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure CMDB health and adoption.

ITOM & Event Management

• Implement and support Event Management solutions.
• Configure Event Rules, Alert Rules, Correlation, CI Binding, Suppression, and Deduplication.
• Enable automated incident creation and root cause analysis using CMDB relationships.
• Ensure seamless integration between monitoring, discovery, and CMDB ecosystems.

Leadership

• Conduct technical workshops and gather business requirements.
• Prepare HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, and architecture documentation.
• Mentor CMDB administrators, Discovery engineers, and platform teams.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on enterprise architecture discussions.

Compensation: 180,000.00 - 200,000.00 per month
