Job summary

PUMPS SERVICE CENTRE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service, install and support pump systems at customer sites and facilities across the city.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering reliable service. The role requires hands-on experience with pump and water-tank systems, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: NITEC or Diploma in ME/EE or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in pump systems or water tank maintenance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and installation of pump systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Diagnose pump system issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of pumps to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of new pump installations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Drive to customer locations in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic and company regulations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and materials used during service calls.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on pump system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Education: NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in pump systems and/or water tank maintenance is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of various pump types (e.g., centrifugal, submersible, diaphragm).
• Familiarity with water tank systems, valves, and piping.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
