Job summary

Singtel is seeking professionals in Singapore for fiber planning and network design tasks to support corporate data services. Responsibilities include ensuring timely cable provisioning, monitoring survey accuracy, and managing escalated cases.

• Perform fiber planning and network design tasks in support of provisioning activities.
• Review and plan new network cables required for corporate services.
• Monitor timely submission and check accuracy of survey sketches.
• Check and approve fiber cable plans drawn.
• Verify project costing for fiber planning tasks.
• Allocate network infrastructure for corporate services.
• Liaise with operation staff to resolve issues.
• Manage and extract database for management report.
• Assist in managing escalated cases for fiber planning.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately.

• Perform fiber planning and network design tasks in support of provisioning activities for corporate data services and engineering circuits over transmission and fiber network.
• Review and plan new network cables required to provision corporate data or engineering services and generate associated documentation.
• Monitor timely submission and check accuracy of survey sketches by contractors.
• Check and approve fiber cable plans drawn.
• Verify project costing and capital expenditures for fiber planning tasks.
• Allocate network infrastructure required to provision corporate data or engineering services and generate associated documentation.
• Liaise with operation staff and field staff to resolve issues pertaining to the fiber planning and design work.
• Manage and extract database for management report as required.
• Assist in performing and managing escalated cases for all fiber planning and design requirements.
• Ensure the task is completed on time and accurately to meet the team’s Key Performance Index.
• KPI includes the measurement of on‑time performance, design errors and response time to capacity check requests.
