Make an Impact by:
- Managing a team of staff and contractors managing Fibre infrastructure within the Airport
- Overseeing contractors in the execution of maintenance works.
- Ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with established operational procedures and engineering guidelines.
- Ensuring contractors adhere to safety procedures in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA) and use the appropriate safety equipment.
- Responding to escalation and troubleshooting any Fibre issues that arise by determining the root cause of the problem and providing Root Cause Analysis and Chronology reports when needed.
- Computing monthly reports and analysing fault trends to devise solutions to reduce fault.
- Leading and managing projects as assigned by manager, working with different stakeholders by providing guidance, direction and support.
- Defining project objectives, deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Managing and coordinating provisioning of circuits, reactive and preventive maintenance.
- Being accountable for the maintenance of pipe and cable infrastructure.
- Attending to emergency cable breakdowns during and after office hours.
- Working with team and contractors to perform restoration works at site.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years’ working experience.
- Ability to work during non‑office hours on an occasional basis.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of people.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Good in Microsoft software (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
