Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic's Department of Student Development is seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager to initiate and lead service-learning and sustainability programmes. You will collaborate with SP-wide stakeholders, plan activities, track data for improvement, and mentor CCA clubs.

The role requires strong organisational and analytical skills and a passion for youth development. The appointment is a 2-year contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in service-learning, youth development, education or related fields.
• Strong organisational, administrative and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Willing to work beyond office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• a) Design and lead service-learning and sustainability programmes and activities, ensuring objectives are achieved.
• b) Develop and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders to lead meaningful service-learning and sustainability programmes and opportunities.
• c) Mentor and guide students in CCA clubs, including leadership development and administrative support.
• d) Support departmental administrative processes and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
