Job summary

Exentec in Singapore seeks a Lead Maintenance Engineer to head troubleshooting efforts, plan and execute predictive and corrective maintenance, and manage a team to maximize equipment uptime and safety compliance.

The role requires overseeing maintenance activities, maintaining records, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement while coordinating with production and QA teams. You will train technicians, uphold high safety standards, and provide standby support for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in maintenance or operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience leading a maintenance team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
• Plan, schedule, and perform predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for compliance and analysis.
• Prepare maintenance reports and lead meetings to communicate status and issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Track uptime, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR for CDS equipment to optimize performance.
• Perform FMEAs and implement corrective solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate ordering.
• Lead Shift Technicians to complete maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Train technicians and customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
• Enforce high safety standards and assist in audits.
• Generate reports and presentations summarizing maintenance activities and outcomes.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and installation of gas cabinets, VMB & panels, and process systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement planning to enhance maintenance processes.
• Provide 24-hour standby support for emergencies.
• Perform additional job-related duties as required to support maintenance operations.
