Job summary

ESCO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an AV engineer to maintain, operate and troubleshoot client AV/VC systems across sites.

You will be the first contact for advisory matters on tickets and will support clients during events and power exercises. Travel required to multiple sites; perform regular maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and provide on-site and remote support to minimise downtime. You will train clients, prepare reports, and collaborate with engineering on related duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in operation, engineering and/or installation of AV systems.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with touch screen control systems and video conferencing technology.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance checks and updates on AV equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to AV systems.
• Provide on-site and remote support to clients to minimise downtime.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Train clients and end-users on operation and maintenance of AV systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on service calls, issues resolved and system updates.
• Occasionally support the Engineering team for related duties.

The Responsibilities:

For this role, you will be traveling from sites to sites; be responsible for maintaining, operating and troubleshooting client's AV / VC systems. You will act as the first contact point on all advisory matters pertaining to our client's system for the tickets assigned to you. You will also be the pillar of support for our clients during key events, meetings and power exercises.

• -Perform regular maintenance checks and updates on AV equipment.
• -Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to AV systems.
• -Provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime.
• -Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• -Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
• -Prepare detailed reports on service calls, issues resolved, and any system updates.

From time to time, you may have to support the Engineering team for other related duties.

The Pre-Requisites:

• -Preferably at least two years of experience in the operation, engineering and / or installation of AV systems. A strong knowledge of audio, video and networking engineering fundamentals.
• -Experience of touch screen based control systems and video conferencing technology.
• -Strong customer service skills.
• -Positive attitude and incredible work ethics
• -Team player and can work independently.
• -Demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external clients.
