Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. is hiring at a Redhill hawker stall in Singapore for a customer-focused role. You will greet customers, take orders, handle payments, and maintain neat displays. You may assist with light food prep and ensure safety and hygiene standards are followed.

The position requires the ability to stand for long hours, work weekends/public holidays, and adapt to a busy hawker-centre setting. Prior customer service or bakery experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, F&B or bakery experience is an advantage.
• Friendly, polite and service-oriented.
• Able to communicate with customers and work well in a team.
• Comfortable handling cash and electronic payments.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Willing to work in a hawker-centre environment.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take customer orders and recommend suitable bakery products.
• Handle payments accurately through cash, NETS and other payment methods.
• Pack and display pastries and other bakery products.
• Replenish products and ensure the display area remains neat and attractive.
• Respond professionally to customer enquiries and feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stall, counter and work areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation and other duties when required.
• Monitor product availability and inform the team when stocks are running low.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

• Timing: 8.30am to 7.30pm
• Working Days: 5 days (including weekends and public holidays)
• Halal Bakery
• Sunday allowance $50/day
