Job summary

JUMBO GROUP OF RESTAURANTS PTE. LTD. is hiring for an ice cream stall operator in Singapore. We are looking for someone who can operate and manage the stall, prepare and serve various ice cream items, and ensure excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum qualification of 'O' or 'N' level, possess strong communication skills, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work shifts, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming and hygiene standards in accordance with company and food safety requirements.
• Effective communication in English; ability to speak Mandarin is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Core Responsibilities

• Operate and man the ice cream stall, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Prepare and serve ice cream, toppings, waffles, cones, and related menu items
• Handle cashiering duties, including POS operation, payment collection, and end‑of‑day reconciliation
• Maintain product quality, portion consistency, and hygiene standards
• Refill ingredients, toppings, cones, cups, and packaging materials throughout the day
• Ensure cleanliness of the stall, equipment, counters, and dining area
• Assist with opening and closing procedures (stock check, cleaning, equipment start‑up/shutdown)
• Provide friendly customer service, including product recommendations and handling customer queries
• Support simple inventory tasks such as stock rotation, receiving goods, and reporting low stock
• Assist in basic machine operation (soft‑serve machine, freezer, waffle maker) with training provided

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of 'O' or 'N' level
• Professional and approachable demeanor
• Professional grooming and hygiene standards in accordance with company and food safety requirements
• Effective communication in English; ability to speak Mandarin is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak other languages such as Japanese or Korean is an advantage
