Job summary

BUTTER BEAN PTE. LTD. is hiring for a Service Crew/Promoter to greet customers, handle day-to-day store operations, and drive sales. You will promote products, prepare and serve food samples, and provide excellent service to customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires working 6 days a week, 8 hours per day, with shifts including weekends and public holidays. Experience in retail or food & beverage is preferred, and supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail/FOOD & BEV/customer service experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily store operations efficiently.
• Drive sales and achieve daily targets.
• Upsell products to customers at supermarkets and retail outlets.
• Prepare and handle food samples per SOPs.
• Serve samples and assist customers to encourage purchases.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle enquiries promptly.
• Coordinate customer orders with supervisor and Central Kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels and place stock orders as needed.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain attractive displays.
• Ensure product freshness and proper stock rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day operations of the store and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Drive sales performance and achieve daily sales targets set by the Company.
• Proactively promote and upsell products to customers at supermarkets and retail outlets.
• Prepare food samples for tasting, including preheating/reheating, boiling, frying, cutting, and proper storage of products in accordance with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Serve food samples to customers and actively engage them to encourage product purchases.
• Provide excellent customer service and attend to customers' enquiries and orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinatecustomer orders with customers, immediate superior and the Central Kitchen, to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Monitorinventory levels, place stock orders, and liaise with the immediate superior and Central Kitchen to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Replenish and merchandise products on shelves, ensuring displays are well-organised, visually appealing, and conducive to maximising sales opportunities.
• Ensure product freshness by monitoring product quality and expiry dates, implementing proper stock rotation, and removing expired or near-expiry products in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform regular product quality checks to ensure products meet the Company's quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including daily housekeeping duties and proper disposal of waste.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food safety guidelines.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company or the immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Able to work 6 days per week, 8 working hours per day (exclude 1 hour break time)
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Relevant experience in retail, supermarket, food & beverage, or customer service operations; supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Customer service and sales-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods and perform operational duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and inventory management is preferred.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and a team player.
