Job summary

GIG COFFEE PTE. LTD. is seeking a cafe team member to warmly greet customers, assist with orders, and prepare beverages to the company’s quality standards.

You will also serve food, handle cashier duties, and keep coffee-making equipment clean and well-maintained in a fast-paced cafe setting. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required; discuss scheduling during interview.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate.
• Minimum secondary school education.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays; for Part-Time candidates, discuss work days during interview.
• Able to work independently and support other team members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and assist them with their orders, if needed
• Prepare and serve beverages consistent with company's quality standards
• Serve customers with their food
• Maintain beverage making appliances/equipment in a functional and clean manner to support efficient beverage making
• Perform cashier's duties
• Clean and maintain the cafe areas including washing of tablewares
• Assist in the stocking and replenishment of beverage supplies
• Follow the company's security & safety procedures, hygiene & service practices
• Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management
