Job summary

Common Man Coffee Roasters in Singapore seeks a Service Captain to lead floor operations during busy brunch periods, delivering seamless service with a guest-centric hospitality mindset.

You will mentor the service team, confidently pair coffees, cocktails, and wines, and act as the bridge between barista, kitchen, and guests to ensure speed, accuracy, and warm smiles across CMCR’s cafes on a 44-hour, 5-day work week.

• Ability to guide and mentor service staff to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on floor operations, ensuring seamless service from first flat white to last pour-over.
• Guide and mentor the service team to deliver consistent, guest-centric hospitality.
• Recommend and pair coffees, cocktails, and wines confidently — elevating the guest experience.
• Be the bridge between the barista bar, kitchen, and guests — ensuring speed, accuracy, and smiles.
• Manage bookings and walk-ins to maximise flow during peak brunch rushes and weekday lulls.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and service-ready environment.

Schedule:

• 44 hours/week | 5-day work week
