Job summary

CREW by HRNET is seeking a practical engineer to support manufacturing teams in server, storage and networking product builds. The role focuses on improving processes, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring builds meet specifications on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or higher Nitec in engineering, at least 2 years in manufacturing environments, and hands-on skills in assembly, wiring, tooling and production equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Nitec / Higher Nitec in engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering support.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or server/PC manufacturing is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support process/manufacturing engineers in implementing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Support server and rack-level builds, including assembly and production verification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs and EI.
• Verify builds against drawings and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, cabling, tooling and equipment issues on the floor.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate to Engineering.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and support corrective actions.
• Develop or update Work Instructions, SOPs and process flow documents.
• Monitor quality, yield, productivity and cycle time.
