Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. in Tampines seeks a Test Engineering Technician to perform server and hardware testing in a structured manufacturing environment.

You will gain hands-on exposure to server testing, rack configurations, troubleshooting, Linux/DOS, and test systems, with focus on quality and timely shipments.

The role includes training production testers, developing rack test templates, and supporting production readiness post-training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or above in a technical field.
• 2–4 years of relevant testing/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in server, rack or hardware testing is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/DOS is required.
• Understanding of basic electrical concepts is beneficial.
• Able to read Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Understand Test Process Instructions (TPI) and train production testers on test procedures.
• Support operators and resolve queries during production testing.
• Create and maintain Golden Images (GI) for servers and ensure test database accuracy.
• Develop rack test templates based on BOM and Engineering Instructions.
• Coordinate with software teams to deploy rack configurations into test systems.
• Set up database entries for new hardware components and troubleshoot issues.
• Raise technical tickets and escalate complex issues to engineers.
