Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Singapore seeks an Electronic Components Project Lead to manage the design, development and testing of sensors for machine and engine systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, drive project controls, manage costs, and ensure stakeholder expectations are met while delivering robust electronic solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Demonstrates effective communication, ability to transmit and interpret information clearly.
• Ability to establish healthy client, vendor and peer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of electronic component development and applications.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
• Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
• Communicating with customers and managing expectations; ensuring effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms.
• Maintains accountability for personal technical performance and guides others.
