Job summary

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at NTU Singapore seeks an experienced Lab Manager/Senior Assistant Manager to lead X-ray crystallography operations and support advanced analytical needs. You will maintain instruments, ensure safety compliance and provide technical leadership across researchers and teaching programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry with 5+ years experience in small molecule single-crystal X-ray crystallography.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in laboratory safety and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the X-ray crystallography laboratory and facilities.
• Perform crystal data collection, structure solving and refinement.
• Train users and develop SOPs and training materials.
• Support teaching activities for graduate courses CM7012/CM6810.
