Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain microservices-based APIs using Java and WSO2 API Manager across on-premises and AWS environments.

You will partner with Product Owners, Architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure API solutions supporting payment workflows, with emphasis on security, reliability, and observability. Strong communication and agile collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering in enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based APIs using Java and API managers.
• Build, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs and integrations across on-prem and AWS.
• Implement API security (OAuth2, JWT, MTLS) and API lifecycle governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies and provide production support.
