Job summary

OCBC Bank Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team delivering Wealth Core Banking software. You will design and build microservices, implement REST APIs, and ensure scalability and performance across cloud deployments.

The role requires Temenos Transact experience, MVC familiarity, and strong Java/Spring skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust software solutions, while adhering to coding standards and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in an IT related discipline.
• Experience with Temenos Transact (T24) integration.
• Knowledge of App servers like JBOSS and WebLogic.
• Experience with MVC, data modelling, deployment & build management.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices and CI/CD.
• Familiar with AWS or Openshift.
• Experience with MQ/Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development planning and delivery of technology development book of work and system integration for Wealth Core Banking.
• Strong experience with REST/microservice architecture and Swagger documentation.
• Designing and developing microservices architecture with APIs and appropriate service boundaries.
• Implementing business logic with clean, efficient code that meets requirements.
• Ensuring scalability and performance with caching, load balancing, and efficient resource use.
• Integrating and deploying microservices and cloud deployment tools for smooth management.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability, including monitoring and alerting.
